Condo Befores and Afters: Dining Room and (stick your nose up higher...no, even higher than that) the Butler's Pantry

Dining room is the first room that truly feels like ours and not the previous owner's. Allen painted Williamsburg yellows, a darker one below the chair rail, and made the chair rail white. We still need a rug and window treatment someday, though, as the room echoes.

We've hung most of our Scandinavian art in here.

The Butler's Pantry didn't really need any work; it just took time to figure out the best way to use it. (Well, we did add some undercabinet lighting.)

I LOVE the glass-front cabinets, being able to see pretty and/or sentimental things every time I go by.

After: We found the perfect (*hides coffee stains*) rug at a consignment shop, a good thing because...

...we now have a little coffee corner!
